After the devastating Woolsey Fire in 2018 in Malibu, homes were destroyed, and materials that were once commonly used in construction proved dangerous. For this project, our client desired to renovate his backyard by adding concrete steps to enhance the area and provide protection. The goal of this project was to design and install concrete steps that seamlessly blend with the estate’s aesthetic while providing functional access around the property.

Concrete Driveway and Retaining Wall Installation
Originally, we were called to build a retaining wall to prevent water from the homeowner’s property from pooling on the driveway, along with mud, when it rained. However, after discussing the cause of the water pooling on her driveway, our client realized it was time to upgrade her entire outdoor space.

- Renovate her driveway to accommodate her car
- Transform the exterior of her house with a smooth and luxurious black stucco finish

Bearing this in mind, our team was tasked with transforming a cluttered and underutilized backyard into a safe and spacious play area for our client’s young children. The goal was to create an inviting outdoor space where our client’s toddlers could freely play and ride their bikes, encouraging outdoor activity in a secure environment.
